PC  Installation Instructions

If a previous full production (non-Trial) version of NoteWeaver is already installed, continue with step 1.

If this is a new installation, or a Trial version was previously installed, goto step 3.

1. Copy and paste your NoteWeaver folder that's in My Documents back into My Documents and rename the copied folder NoteWeaverOld.

This will leave the original NoteWeaver folder, which can then be completely uninstalled, and it will leave a good copy of all your data and song files inside NoteWeaverOld.

2. Uninstall your previous NoteWeaver program using Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs.
Select NoteWeaver and press Change/Remove

3. Install NoteWeaver:

Double-click NoteWeaver Zip Icon
Double-click "setup.exe"  (allow .exe files if you get warnings)
Follow setup instructions.

4. Copy your data and song files back over from within the NoteWeaverOld folder to the newly created NoteWeaver folder if you had a previously installed production version saved in a NoteWeaverOld folder

5. For a Windows XP machine click: Microsoft vcredist_86.exe Link

and download and run the vcredist_86.exe file which will install the correct C++ runtime library for NoteWeaver to work.

  
     
 

Mac  Installation Instructions

If you have previously installed NoteWeaver, rename the NoteWeaver folder inside your Applications folder NoteWeaverOld.


Double-click NoteWeaver.pkg Zip icon
This will place a NoteWeaver.pkg icon on your desktop
Double-click this NoteWeaver.pkg icon
Follow setup instructions

The NoteWeaver program icon is in:  Macintosh HD/Applications/NoteWeaver. You can copy this application and paste it onto your desktop.

If you had a previously installed production (non-Trial) version of the program, copy your data and song files back over from within the NoteWeaverOld folder to the newly created NoteWeaver folder.
